21 Jump Street on the Big Screen

"21 Jump Street", the TV cop-drama from the late 80's-early 90's, is reportedly in talks of being made into a movie. Jonah Hill ("Superbad") apparently wants to head it up, and is currently in negotiations to bring the show to the big screen. He also wants original cast member Johnny Depp to star. Sony has confirmed Hill, a comedic actor, will pen the screenplay and act as executive producer, but no word as to whether he will star in the film as well.

Growing Pains Reunion

The Insider has a special mini reunion with cast members from the TV series Growing Pains. Fifteen years after the '80s show went off the air, Alan Thicke, Tracey Gold, Kirk Cameron and Jeremy Miller had a little sit down, and you can see a clip or read more about it here. 

 
Don't Take off from Drew Barrymore

On Monday Drew Barrymore was rear ended while driving in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, but when the offending driver took off the actress followed the vehicle to snag its driver's licence. Drew handed the number over to sheriff's deputies, and she was not injured in the accident.

 
Boston Legal Case Closed

In a surprise, the fifth season on Boston Legal, will reportedly be its last. The Emmy award winning TV drama which stars James Spader and William Shatner will bow out with a 13-episode run in the fall. Some cast members may become a part of other series', and the final episodes will just push the series over the 100 Episode mark.

Michael Moore is reportedly making a sequel to his 2004 film "Fahrenheit 9/11". The film, an indictment of George W. Bush's war on terror, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival that year, and this new installment could play at the same festival next year.

The sequel will pick up where "Fahrenheit 9/11" left off- with Bush's  plummeting popularity, the continuing Iraq war, and faltering U.S. economy.

 
Justin Timberlake a Game Show Host too?

Seems like he can do just about anything- sing, act, dance, and now its being reported that Justin Timberlake will be hosting a new television game show, set to premiere in the fall. The Phone, based on a show from the Netherlands, joins MTV and Timberlake. The premise has them follow contestants as they race around the United States searching for cash prizes.

 
Fraggles on Stage

Reportedly the Weinstein Company is going to be a part of turning the hit 1980's Jim Henson series Fraggle Rock, into a live-action, musical feature. Cory Edwards (Hoodwinked) will be working on the screenplay and direction. The idea will take the main Fraggles outside of their home in Fraggle Rock, where they interact with humans, and think they are aliens.

 
New Kids Rehearsal

The New Kids on the Block are doing their first live show together in 15 years this Friday on the Today Show, and you can have a peek at the "Kids" doing a little rehearsal here. After the show, the group kicks off their tour, with a show in Toronto in a few months.
