Early Saturday morning, police attempted to stop a man, riding a bicycle in downtown Guelph, without any lights. The man fled but was later stopped in the baker street parking lot.
Turns out the bike was stolen, and the man was in possession of a loaded b.b. gun, contrary to a court prohibition.
A 19 year old is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of stolen property and obstructing police.
At about 1:30 yesterday afternoon, a man exposed himself to a woman, who was sitting on a bench on the trails in Clair Park.
He’s described as being 25 to 30-years of age, about 5 foot 8, with an olive complexion. He was clean shaven and has dark hair and eyebrows.
Around the city over the weekend, three drivers were charged with impaired driving.
But during some ride spot checks, of the 520-drivers checked, only four were given road side screening tests.
All were within the legal range.
