Over 37 hundred Guelph Hydro customers lost power in the middle of the night.
Power was off briefly around 3 this morning, to homes and businesses in the London-Metcalfe-Cardigan-Palmer-Westmount area.
It was back on within the hour. No word yet on what caused the problem.
Except for a small outage at Terra Cotta, and a couple of others north of Orangeville, Hydro One has restored electricity to everyone, knocked off line last Thursday by the ice storm.
And Centre Wellington Township will be picking up limbs and brush, at the curb side, until the 17th of April.
You are only allowed one pile per property. It can only be 3 metres long, by one metre wide, by one metre high. Branches must be less that 15 centimetres in diameter. That’s 6 inches.
Brush can also be dropped off free of charge at one of the county waste facilities.
The web site, wellington.ca has all of the hours of operation.
