Yesterday, Guelph police arrested a woman, while she was conducting a drug transaction with another woman.
Police then searched an apartment on Ajax Street and turned up over 19 thousand dollars worth of cocaine, along with marijuana, cannabis resin, prescription pills, numerous cell phones, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia. A large machete and a set of martial arts weapons were also seized.
63 hundred dollars in cash was also confiscated.
One woman faces charges, while police have also issued arrest warrants for two men.
Wellington Provincial Police searched a Queen Street home in Fergus, and seized what they are calling a substantial quantity of marijuana.
They also recovered drug equipment, packaging, money, two large hunting knives and a hatchet.
A 20 year old Fergus man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
And in Waterloo Region, officers stopped a car on Tuesday, and discovered heroin, meth, cocaine and marijuana. They also seized cash and some weapons.
A 33 year old woman faces charges.
