With the help of a police service dog, a townhouse residence at the University of Guelph was searched on the weekend. Police turned up cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana, worth $2,000.
They also seized $13,000 in cash and an air pistol B.B. gun.

A 31 year old Orangeville man is charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of an accident. Just before 4 yesterday, Guelph police spotted two vehicles on south ring road at the university, both driving with damage: one to the front end, and the other to the rear end.
Police stopped both, and found that one of them had been rear ended. The offending driver pulled a U-turn and left the scene, followed by the other damaged vehicle.
