The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has expanded its recall of Neilson brand 1% chocolate milk.
Over the weekend an initial recall targeted the 4 litre bags because of possible listeria contamination. Now, the recall includes all sizes of cartons and in particular, milk produced at the Saputo plant in Georgetown. That facility is identified by the registration number 1590 which can be found on the packaging.
If you think you may have gotten sick because of contaminated milk, contact your health care professional. And if you have the items in your fridge, toss them, or take them back to where you bought them.
