Friday night, the community volunteer patrol contacted police, to report two vehicles that appeared to be racing in the College Avenue–Conroy Crescent area.
Police found one of the vehicles, after the driver pulled over to deal with some damage to the undercarriage of his car.
A 38 year old Cambridge man is charged with impaired driving.
The “Community Volunteer Patrol” involves teams of people who patrol the city and call police if they come upon any situation that required police assistance.
And police went to the Stone Road area, after getting reports of an impaired driver. A 60 year old Erin woman was charged with care and control of a vehicle, while over the legal alcohol limit, when she started the vehicle.
