You’ll notice some sweet sounds emanating from Guelph’s downtown this month.
Again this year, the Hashtag-Happy Making Project will distribute pianos in front of a number of business downtown, in an effort to simply spread joy and a sense of community.
One of the pianos will be in front of Grey Rock Clothing Company on Quebec Street.
The River Run Centre, the Library Main branch and the Transit hub are just a few of the participants.
The initiative runs until the first of October.
The brain-child of Ian Findlay, former city councillor and owner of Thomas Video, it’s just to make people happy. Eleven pianos have been scattered about the downtown. Everyone is invited to sit down and tinkle the ivories
