After an incident following a child picking up a used needle in a park on Neeve Street. Guelph Police would like to remind the public on what to do if you should find a needle on either public or private property.
Public Property pickup can be done through contacting the HIV/AIDS Resources and Community Health or the Guelph Police. However if you should go about discarding the needle yourself, always use a device like tongs or Pliers to pick up the object, place it in a hard plastic container marked Needle.;
and you can dispose of it at any pharmacy.
