A Grade 10 student at John F Ross in Guelph will have his own song, which he both wrote and performed, featured in local Crime Stoppers broadcasts and on social media.
Crime Stoppers Guelph-Wellington held a contest for high school students in Guelph and the surrounding county looking for musical entries. Crime Stoppers would use the top entry in its features and award the winner a recording session from Jam School in Guelph.
Kieran Bates says its the first time he’s written anything with this particular sound.
Kieran’s winning entry was announced during a flag raising ceremony at City Hall this afternoon for Guelph Wellington Crime Stoppers.
January is Crime Stoppers Month nationwide.
