An intoxicated man kicked in the front door of a neighbours home on Bennet Street Saturday night around 9, while the neighbour’s were home.
When police showed up, he struggled with officers and had to be tasered.
A search of the man, turned up what police believe is cocaine.
A 41 year old is charged with break and enter, mischief, uttering threats, resisting arrest, and drug possession.
And police are reporting a total of 11 break-ins across the city over the weekend: 9 to homes and 2 at businesses.
Add to that, another 7 cars were broken into.
Police also laid 3 drinking and driving charges over the weekend, including the driver of a black B.M.W. that was spotted, weaving all over Gordon Street, early Saturday morning.
A concerned citizen phoned in that report.
We’re not sure what they were celebrating, but they were celebrating none the less.
