Wellington OPP say only three of the 310-collisions occurring during the time of their Festive Ride Campaign, involved a driver who had been drinking alcohol. And, police add that no one was seriously injured or killed as a result of an impaired driver.
Provincial Police have released the results of their 52-day program after wrapping up January 13th.
Thirteen drivers were charged for impaired and only a single driver was charged with being impaired by drugs.
Twenty-eight Warn Range suspensions were issued. Ten more charges were laid for possession of suspected drugs and 35-people were caught driving with suspended licenses.
Officers conducted 143-RIDE checks in the County over the duration of the Campaign.
