A week ago 5,000 high school and elementary school students faced suspension because their vaccination records were not up to date with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.
That number has since fallen to around 4,000 and continues to drop.
High school students with outstanding records, as of next Wednesday, will be notified by their school that they’re suspended until their vaccinations are up to date with Public Health.
Elementary student suspensions will start April 5th and 6th.
You can report immunizations to Public Health using the online form at immunizewdg.ca. Any students not being immunized for medical or other reasons needs to complete an exemption form and submit it to Public Health.
