Sometime overnight Tuesday, thieve broke into the Montessori School on Suffolk Street and walked away with a cash box and other property.
Police aren’t sure how the culprits got in but officers are in the process of analyzing video surveillance in hopes of identifying a suspect.
Good neighbours are hard to come by sometimes.
A resident of Westwood road apartment watched as his neighbour kicked over his motorcycle.
Damage was estimated at around $1,000.
Police arrived and arrested the neighbour. The 19 year old was charged with mischief.
While on Patrol in the Ward area of Guelph around 1 this morning, police spotted people coming and going from a vacant home on Huron Street. Police were quite familiar with the residence, there had been problems in there in the past.
One of the people, spoken to by police, was found be wanted for failing to appear in court. The 54 year old Guelph man was arrested.
and the Ministry of Natural Resources has charged a Palmerston man for hunting without the proper tag.
The MNR says they received a complaint on December 11th about a hunter using a crossbow and not wearing hunter orange.
Officers found evidence of a kill. The hunter was identified and the deer was seized.
The man was fined $1,200.
