The Guelph Storm have selected Tag Bertuzzi with their Second Overall Pick in this years OHL Priority Selection Draft. As Previously mentioned ; Bertuzzi (Center) , Is the Son of Storm Alumni and Former NHL All-Star Todd Bertuzzi, and cousin of former Storm standout Tyler Bertuzzi (Currently in the Detroit Red Wings Organization in the NHL, Playing for the Grand Rapids Griffins). Tag played 49 games for the Oakland Jr Grizzlies and posted 21 goals and 29 assists, a total of 50 points on the year and posted 85 penalty minutes. Another addition to the Storm-Bertuzzi Relationship leaves fans excited for what’s to come at the Sleeman Centre.
In the Second Round the Storm took Mason Primeau of the Toronto Nationals at the 22 spot. Son of OHL and NHL’er Wayne Primeau – and nephew of Keith Primeau.
In the Third Round, The Storm Selected Anthony Aguanno from the Mississauga Rebels with the 45th Pick, Mark Woolley at 54 and Dennis Golovatchev right after at 55.
With the First overall Pick this year, The Barrie Colts unsurprisingly selected Ryan Suzuki of the London Jr Knights, and Brother of OHL Knights Star Nick Suzuki.
