Waterloo Regional Police are also searching for a suspect after a Loss Prevention Officer was struck by a fleeing robbery suspect in a vehicle. Police say the incident occurred at a TSC Store in Cambridge on Dundas Street. The Loss Prevention Officer apparently confronted the woman outside the store yesterday before the suspect hopped into a vehicle that reversed and struck the officer and another car before fleeing the scene. The officer did not suffer any serious injuries, the woman was then charged with theft and escaping police a short time later. The male driver of the vehicle is still at large. He’s being described to be white and in his 30s with short brown hair.
