10 Canadian Children will be heading to Ottawa this week to create a Giant Monument representing Diversity, Unity and Acceptance. The group known as The Beyonders will be doing so at the Ottawa Children’s Festival on Wednesday in part with the building block brand Mega Construx. Each Child was asked to submit their stories about how they helped bring their community together and have made people feel welcomed and accepted. One of those Kids is 10 year old James Rowlandson of Guelph, who tells he was named a Beyonder, after refusing Gifts at his last birthday party, and instead asked his guests to donate to the Charity “Right To Play”. Now although James didn’t tell us what he plans on building with the other Beyonders in Ottawa, he said to look out for a “BIG Building”. While in Ottawa, The Beyonders will take in the Children’s Festival, and get together for a celebratory dinner. James says he’s very excited for his trip, and when we asked him what he sees the future like he told us he “hopes to see a future full of Children Playing Sports”. The Beyonders will head to our Nation’s Capital for the 10th of May.
