A man was confronted by three employees of an Elizabeth Street business, as he tried to steal a licence plate from a vehicle, and some tools.
He dropped the tools and threatened the men, and when that failed, he tired use items, stolen from another location, to buy his freedom.
The trio didn’t go for it, and the man now faces 11 charges including uttering threats.
Friday night, a man on Willow Road tackled a suspect in his backyard, when he spotted the man with a BB gun. Police turned up crystal meth, and charged a 39 year old Guelph man with Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Dangerous Weapon.
Early yesterday morning, a burglar was scared off from a business on Admiral place, because he discovered staff were still there.
As a consolation prize, he steals a pick up, near-by. When police spot him, he drives the truck through a fence, and into a ditch.
A 29 year old Windsor man is charged with dangerous driving and theft, along with 11 other charges.
On Wolfond Crescent, around midnight Saturday, an alarm scared off a burglar. His consolation prize was a hockey bag full of stuff, that he took from a Talbot Street garage.
One man was still carrying the bag, when police busted him on Dean Avenue.
