Guelph Museums will remember the 100th Anniversary since the passing of Colonel John McCrae and the end of the First World Way, by tracing McCrae’s Service throughout Europe, ending with a memorial at his gravesite. The Tour will be curated by recently retired Guelph Museum’s Curator Bev Dietrich, and will take 30 community participants with them. You can learn firsthand about the life and times of the Guelph Born Soldier, doctor and writer of the poem “In Flanders Fields”. There will also be stops at First World War Landmarks and Historical Sites, including Vimy Ridge and the In Flanders Fields Museum. The Trip will take place between April 27th and May 8th of 2018. The cost is $ $3,895 per person based on twin/double occupancy. A $750 deposit is required at time of booking.
