The Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation has received it’s first of three donation commitments today. The Presentation was held at the Grand River Raceway in Elora, which is owned and operated by the donator, The Grand River Agricultural Society funded $250,000 which is to be paid over the next three years. That brings the Hospital’s total fundraising efforts to $14.4 Million Dollars, which is 72% of its expected $20million towards the Ministry of Health. The new hospital which will serve Elora and Fergus as well as its surrounding area, is set to open its doors in 2019. The fund will go towards the Hospital’s New Healing Gardens.
