Wellington County OPP identify the “Big Four” major causes of death and injuries on roadways as Impaired Driving, Aggressive Driving, Distracted Driving, and failing to wear seat belts.
These were the focuses of the local OPP during the Canada Road Safety Week campaign which ran from May 16th to the 22nd.
Only a pair of Impaired charges were laid along with one Warn Range Suspension.
Five drivers were charged for Distracted Driving along with four Careless Driving offences.
Police also issued 111-tickets for speeding and 41-seat belt infractions.
