Guelph Police have one man in custody and are searching for a second suspect, after a home invasion-style incident, overnight on Waterloo avenue.
Bear spray and batons were used in the break-in, but apparently, the three victims in the home fought back.
It was one of the accused that was taken to hospital, where he was treated and released into police custody.
Police believe it was targeted attack.
A 35-year-old Brampton man is charged with 13 different offenses, including break-and-enter and weapons related charges.
And – Following a disturbance at the Manor, two women, aged 18 and 22 were charged.
One of them faces one count of assault with a weapon – that weapon being a high heeled shoe.
