Tuesday Afternoon around the 3 o’clock hour, Wellington County OPP stopped a vehicle for a run of the mill violation on Main Street in Mount Forest. Further investigation by the officer determined there was drugs inside the vehicle. The OPP Officer found the female driver was in possession of meth and marijuana and was arrested while the male passenger was also in possession of 2 bags of marijuana. The passenger was also breaching previous conditions and was wanted to failing to appear in court. A 59 year old woman of Hanover was charged with possession of the drugs and was released on a promise to appear in court, while the 29 year old man from Mount Forest was charged with possession of a controlled substance, breach of recognizance and failure to appear. He was held for a bail hearing.
