Officials with the Grand River Conservation Authority, are concerned about the environmental impact you are having on the Elora Quarry.
Too many people… and too overcrowded.
So, the GRCA is limiting the number of people that can be in the park at one time, to 1,300.
Once the daily capacity is reached, everyone else in line will be told to try one of the other area parks, like Belwood, Guelph Lake, Rockwood , or the Elora Gorge.
GRCA Operations Director Dave Bennett says the quarry is an important natural feature of the watershed, and they want to be able to continue to allow people to safely used the space.
The quarry is open each night until 8:00PM.
