Saturday Morning, around 7:30am, Police observed a vehicle in the parking lot of a building on Neeve Street that had license plates issued for a different vehicle. When Police approached the man he started to walk away before running off. During the pursuit on foot the man tried to discard a box of shotgun shells. Police caught up to the man, and further investigation revealed he was in possession of heroin and meth. The 22 year old man from Guelph was charged with two counts of drug possession, two counts of breaching a weapons prohibition and use of plates not authorized for his vehicle.
