With over 100-millimeters of rain having fallen in the vicinity of Grand Valley and heavy rainfall in northern portions of the Grand River watershed, the Conservation Authority has issued a series of flood warnings and watches.
Much of the rainfall occurred between 3:00 and 5:00AM this morning and resulted in a rapid rise in river levels across the northern portion of the watershed.
The GRCA says boardwalk shop owners in Elora are being told to expect flooding this afternoon. Flows in Elora are expected to peak later today and remain high through the weekend.
And in Kitchener flooding is expected in the Bingeman Trailer Park later today.
