The Guelph Storm were heavily represented in Chicago during the second day of the NHL Draft. The Philadelphia Flyers traded up in the second round to pick Storm Winger Isaac Ratcliffe at the 35th Overall Spot. Later on, The Arizona Coyotes Traded with Philadelphia to Pick at the 75 mark, The Coyotes would draft Centerman Nate Schnarr with that #75 slot. In the Third Round, at the #84 Pick, The Edmonton Oilers would go ahead and select Defenceman Dmitri Samorukov.
On to the Fourth Round, Where Storm Centreman (and Former Greyhound) Liam Hawel was picked up by the Dallas Stars at the 101st Pick.
