The Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a few warnings ahead of this weekend , due to last weeks flooding.
The GRCA is informing the public that many of the warning buoys on local rivers and waterways were most likely washed away, and will not be there to issue warnings of hazards such as low head damns and obstructions upstream.
Also trails within the watershed are heavily damaged, and public is urged to use extreme caution while using these trails, as municipal and GRCA officials are still assessing the damages.
And finally, Tubing at the Elora Gorge has been put on hold for the time being, as high flows throughout the gorge are making it unsafe for visitors to take in the activity.
