This afternoon, the City of Guelph will be celebrating it’s progress in the past few years in making it easier for businesses and developers to do business with the City.
The event will be held at City Hall and includes a review of 23-recommendations that came out of a report a few years ago, put together by developers and city staff.
Peter Cartwright is the City’s General Manager of Building Development and Enterprise Services. He says the city has made strides to address suggestions that Guelph was a difficult city to do business with…also referred to as the Guelph Factor.
Cartwright says they’ll also be providing an insight into a new technology designed to monitor development applications in real time. It can be used by developers and the public.
