Food banks across Canada notice their donation numbers drop during the summer months.
The Guelph Food Bank always sees this happen throughout the July and August months of the year and would like to remind everyone that although the numbers of donations dwindle, the need for their service across the city does not.
If you would like to help our local food bank there are a few ways you can do so.
You can drop off your donated goods at their warehouse at 100 Crimea Street.
You can also make a monetary donation on their website, or you can volunteer your time and work with them to tackle hunger in the city of Guelph.
The Food Bank is also accepting applications from High School Students looking to fill up their volunteer hours over the summer.
