With Canada 150 having past on July 1st, the province will still be celebrating Ontario’s 150th anniversary throughout the summer as well.
Yesterday, Guelph MPP Liz Sandals was at Riverside Park to make an event announcement regarding those celebrations in the Royal City.
Through partnership with Rotary Guelph Trillium, Sandals said that this year’s Ribfest Event will feature a massive free concert on August 24th. The concert is part of the ONTour Series that is making it’s way through the province, and the show in Guelph will feature a bill featuring The Beaches, Headstones, Coleman Hell and children’s performers Ginger Ale and the Monowhales.
The ON tour concert series is taking place all summer. For more information on the free show visit http://www.ontario.ca/ontour
