The Summer Nights Classical 5K Run goes tonight in Guelph. This means some road closures around the downtown rail trail.
The race beings near Goldie Mills Park at London and Cardigan Street. Runners will head down Dufferin before using the downtown trail to reach Speedvale Ave. They’ll then will head east on Speedvale to Marlborough, along Emma Street, then onto Arthur for the final stretch. Once they reach the end of Arthur they will cross the river onto Norwich and finish their race back at the Mill.
All of these roads will be affected, as well as surrounding streets like Woolwich and Clarke Street.
The race is set to begin at 8:30 pm tonight and only last about an hour.
No detours will be placed and transit interruptions are not scheduled.
