Guelph Police are investigating a theft from a business on Silvercreek Parkway.
Police say a small safe was taken containing a quantity of cash and gift certificates.
At around 4:30 am yesterday morning, officers responded to a report of an alarm having gone off at the business earlier in the evening.
Investigation revealed the back door to the business had been forced to gain entry.
When you don’t get what you want, it’s probably best not to threaten to kill someone.
That’s reportedly what happened at Guelph General Hospital early Friday evening.
A man went to the hospital for medical attention for what police describe as a non-life threatening medical condition.
He was attended to by medical staff but reportedly threatened the attending physician after not receiving the particular medication he thought he was entitled to.
A 44-year-old Guelph man is charged with uttering death threats.
