Three separate fires this morning at vacant or abandoned properties northeast of Guelph are being treated as suspicious.
Emergency crews responded to a barn fire on Sideroad 27 in the Town of Erin just before 6:00 am. Then, just minutes later another call came in for a blaze on Sideroad 15 in Guelph-Eramosa involving a barn and a house.
As emergency crews were travelling in the area, yet another barn was seen billowing smoke just before 7:00 am on the Third Line of Guelph-Eramosa.
No injuries are reported. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called to assist in the investigations.
These fires seem to fit the pattern of the almost two dozen other blazes in the area since September of last year. Police say all three fires this morning are at vacant, or abandoned properties.
