A body discovered on a farmer’s field in North Dumfries last week has been identified.
Waterloo Regional Police say the remains belong to 32 year old Christopher Deweese of Kitchener.
Police say they have been asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the body since it was discovered in a field off Old Beverly and Village Road on Wednesday, but have not heard anything from the public.
An autopsy is still being conducted in Hamilton, as investigators try to uncover the cause of death. Police want to talk with anybody who was in contact with Deweese in early July.
