Guelph Police arrested a 21 year old woman and 39 year old man yesterday in connection to 3 separate break-ins.
The suspect woman was found by a resident on Arthur Street in her dining room and she ran out the back door. The resident chased her down and held her until police arrived on scene. Police found her in possession of stolen property from not only the home on Arthur Street but she was found with items from a home on Yarmouth and a home on Surrey Street. All three homes were broken into early in the morning (July 24).
Later in the day the man was arrested downtown after having used a stolen credit card at a business on Eramosa Road and Speedvale Avenue. Police also found other stolen items in his possession at the time.
The 21 year old woman, from Guelph, is facing 13 charges including break and enter, possession of stolen property, assault and breach of recognizance.
The 39 year old man, also from Guelph, has been charged with two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card, possession of stolen property, break and enter and breach of recognizance.
