When officers arrived neither of the drivers involved in the incident were at the scene. Police spoke to another male party at the scene and were able to determine the identity of the driver at fault in the accident..
Police then contacted the man and he returned to the scene of the collision as well as the second driver. A 20 year old Guelph man was charged with careless driving and failure to report the accident..
Then on the 22nd of July, around 4:45 am, Provincial Police were contacted by a passing motorist who reported an unoccupied vehicle in the ditch at the Flamborough-Puslinch Townline..
When police arrived, the driver had also left the scene and was later located at their residence.
A 32 year old Guelph Woman was charged with careless driving and failure to report as well.
OPP would like to remind motorists that they are required to report collisions where damage is over $2000.
