The second quarter stats for the year have been released by the Guelph Police Service.
Reported collisions were down from last year in this same time period and they also report the worst months for crashing are January and February. (Reported collisions were 1241, compared to 1446 in same time period in 2016)
If you’ve ever wondered what day of the week you might get into a crash, this report says it will likely happen on a Friday, followed closely by Monday and Wednesday.

Collisions involving cyclists – 18
Collisions involving pedestrians – 23
