Guelph Police were called to a west end variety store yesterday after employees reported a customer that refused to leave the store and threatened to kill the clerk behind the counter.
Reports say the man entered the store yesterday morning and was told by the manager to stay out because he was making other employees uncomfortable. The man refused to leave the store and the police were called.
The man made sure to leave the scene before police arrived and threatened to kill the clerk before leaving. Police found the suspect a short distance away a little while later.
The 38 year old man of no Fixed Address has been charged for Uttering Death Threats and has been held for a bail hearing.
