Just in time for the upcoming school year, GO bus service in and out of Guelph is being boosted.
Another nine midday and evening trips are being added on Route 29 between Guelph and Mississauga starting September 2.
Two more weekend trips will be added as well.
“The Guelph—Mississauga GO Bus is an important link for Greater Toronto Area students who attend the University of Guelph and Guelph residents who commute to the GTA,” said Guelph MPP Liz Sandals in a statement. “Adding hourly GO Bus Service is going to make a big difference in people’s everyday lives by giving them more choice and convenience.”
It’s all part of Ontario’s plan to boost train and bus service across the GO network in an effort to help ease congestion.
Full details of the changes can be found on GO Transit’s website.
