Crime Stoppers is boosting their presence at the University of Guelph this fall.
Road signs are going up around the campus with hopes of promoting crime reporting and the university’s Safe Gryphon app.
The three signs, purchased by the university, will be installed on South Ring Road, East Ring Road and McGilvray Street
The Safe Gryphon app can be downloaded from online app providers. It allows users to easily call emergency services, provides push notifications, supplies real-time mapping, and has a loud alarm and flashlight.
