A 28 year old woman was arrested by the Guelph Police on Saturday for stealing from her employer.
Management at a Guelph area pharmacy became suspicious when their inventory consistently showed discrepancies from one count to the next so they decided to put extra security measures in place to catch the culprit responsible.
The security measures put in place worked and the dishonest employee was identified. It’s alleged she was specifically taking Oxycodone pills from her employer.
Charged with fraud under $5,000, uttering forged documents and possession of a controlled substance is Jordannah Mackie.
She’s due in court October 6th to answer to her charges.
