An online order was flagged by a north end hardware store in Guelph due to fraudulent information last month and the culprits finally decided to pick up their order.
Police were called when the suspects went into the store to pick up the items on Sunday afternoon after 2:00pm.
Arrested was a Nicole Marie Voogt, a 24 year old resident of St. Catharines. She was charged with fraud under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
The 31 year old man, from Etobicoke, who initially fled when officers were seen, was chased down and arrested. He’s facing 12 different criminal charges including obstructing police, resisting arrest, drug possession and other fraud-related offences.
