Waterloo Regional Police are investigating reports of a man taking photos up the skirts of women at the Kitchener Market on Saturday.
Officers received the report at around 12:00 p.m. and when they arrived, a witness told them a man was following women and standing close to them with what appeared to be a small device with a lens on his shoe.
Police said the suspect fled once he realized the witness was watching him. An altercation between the two broke out outside, but the suspect managed to get away.
The suspect was last seen in the area of Victoria Street and Margaret Avenue.
He’s described as white, 20 to 30 years old, 5’11”, with an average build and brownish hair. Police also noted a tattoo of letters on the left side of his chest.
He was wearing a Boston Bruins baseball hat, a navy blue T-shirt, and grey jeans.
