A man arrested by the Waterloo Police yesterday (Aug 24) was turned over to the Guelph Police after discovering he was wanted for two separate thefts earlier this month.
The 26 year old Guelph man, whose name was not released, is facing a charge of break and enter, theft under $5,000 dollars, possession of break and enter instruments along with four counts of breach of probation.
These charges stem from video surveillance evidence where the man was seen breaking into two adjacent Gordon Street buildings on August 2nd and 4th. Two bicycles were stolen from a storage shed. The bikes have not yet been recovered.
The suspect was in bail court today.
