Halton Regional Police have arrested two youth in connection to a crime Spree throughout the GTA.
Both male suspects from Brampton, aged 14 and 17 were arrested and charged with four counts of theft of a motor vehicle, three break and enter charges and theft $5,000.
The Two youths were arrested by the Halton Regional Police Service on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in thefts at various community centers located throughout the G.T.A..
This included centers located in Halton Hills and Oakville, where they broke into lockers and stole personal property, including car keys. They stole vehicles through this process on July 19th in Georgetown and August 4th in Oakville.
Deputy Chief Nish Duraiappah said :
“Our GTA communities may vary in identity and demographics, however geographic boundaries are irrelevant to criminals. The commitment of neighboring police services to work together behind the scenes to investigate and eliminate crimes such as this is a testament to the strength in relationships we have across our policing community. ”
Police are still on the lookout for other suspects believed to be involved in these incidents and are continuing their investigation.
