A 52-year-old man from Guelph is facing drug related charges after police found $1,000 worth of marijuana during a crash investigation.
Police were called to a collision on Friday at around 2:30 p.m. on Woolwich Street near Speedvale Avenue East.
A Dodge Dakota pick-up truck rear ended a car that was waiting to turn left, police said in a media release. The driver of the pick-up was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
During their investigation, officers found about $1,000 worth of marijuana inside the truck.
Keith Davis has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and careless driving.
