Amazing results when you have the discipline! I went from a 41″ waist to 36″. Although weight declined only 4 pounds, I was able to build up muscle mass. My shoulders have increased from 41 to 47, which makes sense as we did a lot of work to strengthen my torn rotator cuff. Everything declined where it should have, leaving me with a fantastic blood pressure reading as well as resting heart rate. Thanks to Alex and Shaheen for their guidance and Habib for the opportunity. You are excellent leaders!

Having gone through a previous evaluation at another fitness club and having a negative experience I was tentative about going into another one. But right from the start our trainer Alex at Achieve Fitness made me feel at ease even when taking measurements, weight, and body mass information. Focus was put on what my goals were which was weight loss and toning. It isn’t hard to tell at the evaluation I was out of shape but never was that the focus emphasis was on my goals and what will happen with dedication and support.
Through the training sessions I have rediscovered muscles I forgot I had, experience the “good burn”, and with Alex there motivating me have even surprised myself with my strength and endurance. Alex also explains the equipment/exercises taking away any intimidation factor, corrects technique for maximum results, and his positive attitude is contagious!
Just in the sessions we have had I find I have more energy in the evenings to spend playing with my family, motivated to eat better, and look forward to continuing my progress and making it a lifestyle.

Hi! My name is Shaheen Ghouri and I am a personal trainer at Achieve Fitness. My interest in fitness started at a young age; at 7 years old I started a boxing program which I continued with for over 10 years. Later on, I started being an assistant boxing coach for both youth and adults and that is when I found out that being a fitness instructor was something is truly desirable to me. Training, educating and helping people reach their goals made me realize this is what I want to do. Currently I have completed the University of Guelph Personal Training course and I am certified in both first aid and CPR. My focus is to coach and motivate people to achieve their fitness goals, and I hope to help you with yours.
Alex has been a member of the Achieve Team for years. Everyone knows Alex as the high energy encyclopedia of fitness knowledge. If you haven’t met him yet, you have surely seen him on the gym floor getting his clients in the best shape of their loves.

Fitness has always been a cornerstone in Alex’s life. His mother – heart and stroke
Skyler is the newest Personal Trainer to join the Achieve Fitness Team! Fitness has always been the backbone of Skyler’s life. Growing up he boxed, practiced Martial Arts and played on just about every sports team. Skyler was rewarded with a black belt in Taekwondo at only 12 years old by dedicating every free hour he had to training. Skyler has competed on both the National and International stages and has over 30 first place finishes in WTF. Later Syler shifted his focus to playing football. He played for York University. After graduation, he signed with a semi-pro football team in South Carolina and was named to the East Team All-Stars in his first year. He is currently a CFL free agent.
Skyler’s passion for training people started at a young age. He starting teaching Taekwondo at the age of 12 to both children and adults and received his first Personal Training Certification at the age of 18. He has been working in the fitness industry for almost a decade now and is constantly involved in courses and seminars to expand his knowledge. His most recent certifications are Senior Fitness Specialist Certification with American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Sports Conditioning Certification (ACE).
