Back to school…back to school…it’s that time of year again! I remember always dreading the first day of school after summer vacation…but I also remember being excited to see all my friends. It was always such a dramatic experience saying goodbye to everyone at the beginning of summer, as if you were never going to see any of your friends ever again…hehe. Hearing all about the first day of school all over the radio this morning, it got me thinking about past favourite teachers of mine. Ms. Bartman from grade 4 was one of my favs…she was so much fun! Mr. Blackadar from grade 6 was another favourite…he used to read to the class every day from a series of books with titles that have completely slipped my mind…I’ll have to do some searching because we all loved when he read those books to us. Another fav from middle school was Mr. Woodrow, whom I still keep in contact with from time to time. Fav teachers from highschool were Mr. Bruce, and Mr. Baker…and then there were my favs from college…Ron Tufts, Tom Otto and Bill Boehlen!
