The Mean Girls star went on Instagram to let fans know that she supports Weinstein, who has been condemned by many in Hollywood over allegations of sexual assault and harassment.
“Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan, I’m in Dubai. I’m home,” Lohan said in the now-deleted Instagram Stories videos. “I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now. I don’t think it’s right what’s going on.”

Lohan’s videos were up for less than an hour after being posted in the early morning hours in Dubai.
“I think Georgina needs to take a stand and be there for her husband,” Lohan said of Weinstein’s wife, who has said she is leaving her husband after what she calls his “unforgivable actions.”
“He’s never harmed me or did anything to me. We’ve done several movies together,” she continued. “I think everyone needs to stop. I think it’s wrong. So, stand up.”
The 31-year-old actress appeared in Bobby and Scary Movie 5, both of which Weinstein produced.
Many on Twitter slammed Lohan’s defence of Weinstein.
More allegations have surfaced against Weinstein since he was terminated from his production company on Sunday. In both The New Yorker and the New York Times on Tuesday, many women, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Rosanna Arquette and Asia Argento, are accusing him of harassment or assault.
